Official Seaplane Flight Hanoi - Ha Long (Vietnam)

In September 2014, in Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh, Vietnam, Hai Au airline officially launch seaplanes tour services from Hanoi to Ha Long. 

 
Each day, there will be 1 to 3 roundtrip flights between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, 5 to 10 flights providing sightseeing excursion over the bay.

Cessna Grand Caravan EX Seaplane is able to keep a flying speed of about 300 km/h, and capable of taking off and landing both in the airport and on the water surface (sea, rivers, lakes)

Flying time from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay is 30 minutes, and there are also two flying packs of 25-minute and 40-minute flight over the bay.

Two-way flight from Hanoi to Halong package costs around $570, and the Halong Bay scenic package costs around $240 (25-minute flight) and $339 (40-minute flight). 

The aircraft is able to carry 12 passengers with large windows, allow travelers easily admire and take photograph at an altitude of 500 to 3000 meters above sea level.

This type of service is so popular in the world but completely new in Vietnam. A large number of curving rivers, and beautiful coastline definitely contribute one of the favorable factors to seaplane service development.
